Terms and Conditions
Personal Training Sessions
Training sessions are progressive and designed to graduate the client towards improving optimum function, body composition and improved fitness. Each session is tailored to the client and independent exercise is required. Results are solely dependent on the cooperation, commitment and compliance of the client. Muscular soreness or fatigue can be experienced during and after the exercise session. These discomforts are likely to appear in the initial stages of exercise and minimize as conditioning and endurance improve.
Group training sessions aim to cater for beginner, intermediate or experienced trainees in a group environment. The nature of interval training increases heart rate and blood pressure. In the event of discomfort, dizziness or distress, the onus is on the trainee to rest and advise the instructor.
In the event exercises are too difficult for the trainee to execute, the onus is on the trainee to advise the instructor and request an alternative exercise.
Risks and Discomforts from Training Sessions
The body’s cardiovascular response can vary per client and display symptoms which may indicate risk during or following the exercises. These responses may include abnormalities of blood pressure, fainting, irregular heartbeat, and in rare instances, heart attack, stroke or death. The client is required to communicate any adverse signs and symptoms immediately.
Equipment and Props
Equipment/Props used in training sessions is either owned by Optimal Balance or acquired from other trainers who work with Optimal Balance. All equipment is of industry standard and is maintained. Optimal Balance can’t be held liable for faulty equipment.
The services performed by Nina Eliss of Optimal Balance are restricted at all times to consultation on nutritional matters intended for the best possible state of nutritional health, and do not involve the diagnosing, prognosticating, treatment or prescribing remedies for the treatment of disease, or any act which will constitute the practice of medicine in this State. Optimal Balance focuses on wellness and prevention of illness by educating and motivating clients to assume more personal responsibility for their health by adopting a healthy attitude, lifestyle, and diet. While people generally experience greater health and wellness as a result of embracing a healthier attitude, lifestyle, and diet, Optimal Balance does not promise or guarantee protection from future illness.
Any nutritional vitamins, minerals and supplements recommended are designed to restore balance and/or to rectify possible nutritional deficiencies, energy levels and hormonal profile in conjunction with improved diet, lifestyle habits and exercise. Supplements alone are not designed to correct hormonal, vitamin, mineral or energy deficiencies without the improvement of diet, lifestyle habits and exercise.
The onus is on the client to read the warning label on all supplements to minimize the risk of allergic reaction or possible conflict with any other medications the client is currently taking. If a reaction to possible unknown allergies or similar should occur, these supplements should be stopped and the nutritional consultant should be contacted to obtain further advice on dosage.
Optimal Balance can’t be held liable for the effectiveness or supplements or adverse reactions. The supplements recommended are not medication as prescribed by a doctor. The supplements recommended are available over the counter from retail providers.
While Optimal Balance strives to ensure the accuracy of its product images and information, some manufacturing changes to packaging and/or ingredients may be pending update on our site.
